In China, four men accused of abducting and selling 114 young Chinese women and teenage girls in one of the country's biggest female trafficking operations have gone on trial.

For nearly 13 years the men tricked women into believing they could find jobs for them, but then sold them as wives to poor farmers.

The youngest of the women was aged just 15.
.
The men who ran the scheme from October 1987 to February 2000, kidnapped women from mostly in southern and central China.
