Risk Consultancy rates India the most vulnerable country in Asia
A regional survey has found that India is perceived as the most vulnerable country in Asia in terms of external threats.
The survey also found that Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, China and Vietnam are the least exposed to external threats.
The study was conducted by the Hong Kong-based Political and Economic Risk Consultancy.
It asked more than 1-thousand foreign businessmen in 13 Asian countries how they perceived external threats to their operations.
One outcome was the view that the US-backed fight against Islamic extremists in the southern Philippines bears watching because its success or failure could shape Washington's role in Asia in the medium term.
