Divers search sea bed for data recorder of crashed Chinese jet

Divers are scouring the frigid waters off Dalian for the flight data recorders from the Chinese airliner which plunged into the Yellow Sea after reporting a fire and killed all 112 people aboard.

The search is difficult but the black boxes might solve the mystery of why the MD-82 airliner plunged into the sea ten kilometres away from the northeastern Chinese city.

The Dalian team of 51 divers have to sift 17 possible locations for the black boxes in very cold waters
