Cambodia's agriculture minister dies, age 60
Cambodia's agriculture minister, Chhea Song, has died at age 60.
Aides say he died of liver cancer on Saturday afternoon at Phnom Penh's Calmette Hospital.
Chhea Song had been minister since 1998, and served in several high-ranking posts at the ministry since the 1980s.
He fell seriously ill in December last year, and received medical treatment in neighboring Vietnam from December to February.
He returned recently to Cambodia from three weeks of treatment in France.
A Buddhist funeral is scheduled for Thursday at a temple in the capital.
