Indian PM in rare visit to Iran
Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee arrived in Tehran on the first such visit to Iran by an Indian premier in seven years.
Mr Vajpayee... who is is to hold four days of talks on bilateral relations as well as regional issues...is l accompanied by a high-level political and economic delegation.
He's due to meet a range of high-ranking Iranian officials, including President Mohammad Khatami.
Correspondents say the prime minister's talks will also touch on the energy sector, in particular a stalled Iran-India gas pipeline project which India considers to be a potential security risk if it should run through Pakistan instead of a proposed sea route.
