Two explosions rock Jakarta

There has been panic but no reports of casualties after two explosions at a shopping mall in the Indondesian capital, Jakarta.

South East Asia correspondent, Ginny Stein, reports from Jakarta, police are attempting to establish whether the blasts were accidental or the result of bombs.

Today's blasts come just days after Indonesian presidnet Megawati Sukarnoputri held talks in Washington with President George Bush and publicly backed his campaign against terrorism. Bomb squad officers remain at the scene of today's blast searching for possible unexploded devices. Earlier this year a blast at the same mall injured five people. A Malaysian man, allegedly belonging to an extreme Islamic group, was later arrested as a suspect.
