More people unemployed in Malaysia

Around 38,000 people have lost their jobs in Malaysia between January and November, many of them in the country's key electronics industry, women workers were the hardest hit.

Malaysia has acknowledged it has slipped into recession, and Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has launched an economic stimulus packages in an effort to encourage local demand.
