India says it has evidence of Pakistan's alleged involvement in an attack on the Indian parliament which left 13 dead and 17 injured. Indian Defence Minister George Fernandes said India possessed "sufficient proof" of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence Agency's involvment in Thursday's attack on the parliament in New Delhi. Investigators say the ISI had known in advance about the attack carried out by a suicide squad of five heavily-armed men. The assult left six security staff, a civilian and all the attackers dead.
Another soldier died from his injuries yesterday, bringing the death toll to 13. Government ministers and around 300 MPs were in parliament at the time, but all were unharmed as the attackers were gunned down before they could gain entry to the building.
