Agreement reportedly reached on North Koreans in Spanish embassy
China has reportedly reached agreement on what to do with 25 North Koreans seeking refuge in the Spanish embassy in Beijing.
Speaking at a news conference to mark the end of the annual session of China's parliament, China's Premier, Zhu Rongji said the terms of the deal will be announced later.
He declined to say what would happen to the North Koreans.
Mr Zhu says China's foreign ministry has consulted with the relevant embassies and has reached agreement with them.
The North Koreans, who burst into the embassy on Thursday, have threatened to kill themselves rather than be sent home.
