Maluku demonstrators clash with police in Netherlands

Meanwhile, supporters of independence for Maluku in the Netherlands have clashed with police, after an annual demonstration got out of hand.

Police in the Hague say riot police intervened and two people were arrested after a large number of the 350 demonstrators tried to push through a police cordon.

The demonstration was to mark the 52nd anniversary of the Republic of South Maluku separatist group.
