More police sent to Indonesian province of Maluku
In Indonesia, at least 200 police reinforcements have been sent to the eastern city of Ambon, after explosions overnight following the anniversary of an outlawed separatist group.
Police say the situation in Ambon - the capital of Maluku province - is returning to normal, after the 52nd anniversary of the Republic of South Maluku separatist group was marred by explosions and demonstrations.
At least six people were injured in the explosions.
Local police have arrested 27 Ambon people for flying flags of the RMS, using balloons, a move which prompted demonstrations by loyalist Muslims on Thursday.
The violence on Thursday's has undermined a shaky two-month-old peace pact between warring Christian and Muslim camps.
