More killings in Kashmir In Indian-administered Kashmir, four people have been killed and at least 22 wounded in attacks by suspected Muslim militants in and around the summer capital, Srinigar. Three policemen have been killed in a suicide attack on their camp by a suspected militant. In two separate incidents, suspected militants attacked a police patrol party and a para-military picket, injuring 22 people, including three soldiers. Another civilian has died in the crossfire. The attacks coincide with U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan's appeal for peace in south Asia during a week long visit to the region. He has called on India and Pakistan to go back to the failed Lahore peace accord, signed between the two countries in 1999. Neeraj Bali, New Delhi. 13/03/01 14:01:39 | ABC Radio Australia News
