Large anti-US protest in Jakarta

Hundreds of anti-American protestors have gathered in the streets of the Indonesian capital chanting for a joihad or holy war.

Ginny Stein reports from Jakarta that it's the largest protest yet in the world's most populous Muslim nation.

In the past week small demonstrations have been a daily event with anti-American sentiment on the rise. Thousands of people have now gathered in the centre of Jakarta with many protestors joining in calls for a jihad or holy war. Protestors have come from a number of different organisations. Police have stepped up security BUT the protest is continuing peacefully at present.
