Show of force for Taliban in Quetta

Meanwhile, there's been a large show of force for Afghanistan's ruling Taliban regime in Pakistan's western city of Quetta.

South Asia correspondent Jonathan Harley reports.

In the latest demonstration against Pakistan's support for US strikes in Afghanistan Islamic radicals marched through Quetta waving Taliban flags shouting anti America slogans. They also burnt an effigy of US President George W Bush. Reports estimate as many as 50-thousand people joined the rally. In a show of strength security forces set up machine gun posts across Quetta. Journalists were confined to their hotel. Jonathan Harley, Islamabad.
