Cambodian PM appeals for calm over anthrax

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen has appealed for calm over concerns about anthrax.

Addressing a cabinet meeting, Hun Sen said Cambodia is not a target for the use of anthrax.

He said he had heard that there was concern that the disease could be spread through the use of computers.

He said Cambodians should not be scared, and that the country's public health ministry had the situation under control.

His comments came amid a global scare over the deadly disease which erupted in the wake of last month's terrorist strikes on the United States.
