Husband of Indonesian President in Perth for cardiac treatment

The husband of Indonesia's President Megawati Sukarnoputri is in the West Australian capital, Perth, receiving medical treatment after suffering a heart attack.

58 year old Taufik Kiemas is a prominent law maker and millionaire businessman.

He was initially admitted to hospital in Jakarta suffering chest pains and then transferred to Perth where he has been treated in the past.

Presidential aides say President Megawati did not accompany her husband because his medical case is not considered urgent.
