Medical treatment in Australia for husband of Indonesian President

The husband of Indonesian President Megawati Sukarnoputri will receive medical treatment in Australia for a heart problem, described as not too urgent.

52-year-old Taufik Kiemas, a millionaire businessman and law-maker, initially was admitted to hospital in Jakarta suffering chest pains.

Doctors decided he should fly to Perth in Western Australia where medical examinations had been conducted on him in the past.

President Megawati is not accompanying her husband on the flight to Perth.
