The two leaders discussed the possible sale of liquefied natural gas to China and Mr Zhu offered aid for infrastructure projects.
He says Beijing fully supports all actions taken by the Indonesian government to rebuild the economy and both leaders says they are happy that ties are improving.
President Megawati Sukarnoputri hinted at a return to the close ties between Indonesia and China that existed during the rule of her late father President Sukarno.
