Students protest aoutside Indonesia's Parliament
Dozens of students have scuffled with police outside Indonesia's parliament while demanding the legislature to investigate corruption allegations against the assembly's speaker.
No one was hurt in the clash which lasted only a few minutes.
Police stopped the students from burning an effigy of parliamentary speaker Akbar Tandjung, who has been accused of misusing funds from the state food distribution agency, Bulog, in 1999.
Tandjung, who is also chairman of ex-dictator Suharto's Golkar Party, has denied wrongdoing and resisted calls to resign.
His supporters in parliament have thwarted efforts to set up a committee to investigate the case.
If Tandjung is found to have misused the state funds, he could be expelled from parliament and the party may be disbanded.
