New scandal rocks South Korean administration
A close confidante of South Korea's president has denied any link to a corruption scandal that's engulfing Kim Dae-Jung's administration.
Public prosecutors are questioning the former presidential spokesman, Park Joon-Young, to see if he had received any kickbacks from the businessman at the centre of the scandal, Yoon Tae-shik.
Mr Park had arranged meetings for Mr Yoon with various government agencies.
It's suspected Mr Yoon, the owner of a high tech start up firm, had bribed government officials and politicans.
The questioning of Mr Park is a new political blow to a government already engulfed in a series of corruption scandals involving senior officials.
