Rains hit Jakarta again
Parts of the Indonesia capital Jakarta are again under water after two days of heavy rain.
The latest floods have blocked parts of the main North Java highway, forcing traffic to make wide detours. However city officials say the the flooding is not as serious as that of two weeks ago, when more than a quarter of the capital was submerged in extensive flooding.
More than 300-thousand people were forced to flee their homes and some 57 people were killed in the city and its surroundings in flood-related incidents.
Most of the displaced people have returned home since the earlier floods subsided, but thousands, mostly small children, are suffering diseases such as diarrhoea, influenza or skin disorders.
