Richmond through to AFL pre-season cup semi-finals

In the Australian Football League,

Richmond has made it into the pre-season cup semi-finals but at a cost....with two Tigers players suffering serious injuries in last night's 26 point win over Carlton at Melbourne's Docklands Stadium.

Young forward Marc Dragicevic may be sidelined for the rest of the season after injuring the same knee he hurt last year, while Tigers key defender Darren Gasper injured his collarbone.

In Perth, West Coast beat Geelong by 14 points to narrowly miss qualifying for the semi-finals.
