Top US diplomat cancels talks in India and rushes to Pakistan
America's Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia, Christina Rocca, has cancelled talks with Indian officials and left for Islamabad following a bloody grenade attack on a church.
U-S officials say that Ms Rocca cancelled her scheduled meetings with India's Foreign Minister Jaswant Singh and National Security Adviser Brajesh Mishra.
President George W-Bush and other top U-S officials have expressed outrage at a grenade attack on a church in Pakistan that killed five people, including a U-S diplomat's wife and her daughter.
An Australian aid worker was among the 46 injured.
The five were killed when an assailant hurled hand grenades during a prayer service at a Protestant church in the Pakistani capital's diplomatic quarter.
