Bomb rips apart bus in Pakistan, killing two

A bomb has ripped apart a crowded passenger bus in western Pakistan, killing two men and injuring 12 others.

Police say the device was planted inside the Karachi-bound bus and exploded around at a bus station in Spin Qaira, 250 kilometres south of Peshawar.

The area in Pakistan's western tribal belt, near the border with Afghanistan, has seen a string of bomb blasts in the past two weeks but none had been fatal.
