Hunt on for those behind Papuan leader's murder

Investigators in Indonesia say they are now attempting to find out who ordered the assassination of the Papuan independence leader, Theys Eluay.

Their statement came after revealing that soldiers were paid by their superiors to carry out the November murder.

From Jakarta, Mark Bowling reports.

The investigation report says three members of the Indonesian army's special forces, Kopassus, were aided by a number of lower ranking soldiers to kill Theys Eluay. The soldiers were allegedly paid by their superiors to execute the independence leader. He was found murdered soon after being kidnapped as he drove home by a party hosted by the Indonesian military. The three special forces soldiers allegedly involved have been arrested.
