Debriefing sessions begin for US spy plane crew

As the U-S air crew released from CHINA yesterday begin debriefing sessions in HAWAII, the WHITE HOUSE has dismissed the prospect of curtailing surveillance flights.

Washington correspondent MICHAEL CAREY reports

Aircrew members, who arrived in HAWAII overnight say they're pleased to be back in the UNITED STATES after spending eleven days on CHINESE TERRITORY as BEIJING and WASHINGTON argued over their fate. But the deal that saw their release didnt include the return of their damaged surveillance plane... an issue which will be discussed at a meeting between US and CHINESE officials next week. However senior WHITE HOUSE figures are already insisting they WON'T be offering to stop spyflights in international waters as sought by the CHINESE.
