Indonesian book store withdraws communist titles
Indonesia's largest bookstore chain has withdrawn from sale some 20 titles associated with communism.
Gramedia says the move follows threats by a Muslim group.
It says the United Islamic Youth has threatened to conduct raids on bookshops stocking communism-related books.
The company describes conditions in Indonesia as extremely sensitive and says it's taking preventative measures to avoid any undesirable incidents.
But it says it will still supply the withdrawn books to consumers who want them.
Several groups have blamed communists and leftists for the current political instability in the country.
