Edmund Roy reports from New Delhi.

"General Pervaz Musharraf due in Kathmandu later today said he disagreed with Indian Prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee's assertion that the regional summit should not he used for bilateral dialogue. Instead he said a new mechanism should be put in place where such dialogue could take place. His comments come as both countries continue to build up troops on the border.
