Bangladeshi archeologists find 2,450-year old relics: report
Bangladeshi archeologists have reportedly discovered ancient artefacts which could be 2,450 years old.
The Daily Star newspaper said after a 51-day excavation, a four-member team discovered the relics in the eastern Narsinghdi district.
It said the group had contacted experts in India and the Netherlands who confirmed that there was habitation in that area 2,450 years ago.
The experts believe that the relics, including bronze items and beads, could date from that time, which would make them the oldest ever found in Bangladesh.
