US President facing sharp criticism during second leg of Asian trip

United States President, George W-Bush, is today facing sharp criticism as he holds key meetings in South Korea on the second leg of his week-long Asian trip.

North Asia correspondent Mark Simkin reports, President Bush will also get his first glimpse of North Korea:

"Mr Bush says North Korea is part of an axis of evil. It's a description that has alarmed the government of South Korea which believes that increased engagement, not confrontation is the way to deal with the secretive state. Today, the U-S President will get to see North Korea for himself when he visits a demilitarised zone that separates the two countries. He will also hold talks with South Korean leader, Kim Dae Jung. His hardline on regional security is likely to be criticised."
