Gunmen shoot dead 10 at shi'ite muslim mosque in Pakistan

In Pakistan, gunmen have killed at least 10 people after they attacked a Shi'ite Muslim mosque in the northern city of Rawalpindi.

It's the first major sectarian attack since a nationwide crackdown on extremism was launched last month.

Police say three men armed with automatic weapons drove on motorcycles to the mosque before two went inside and fired indiscriminately at about 28 worshippers.

Apart from those killed in the attack, about a dozen others were injured before the gunmen escaped.
