Alert involving Air India jet

There's been an international alert involving an Air India jet on a flight from India to the United States.

The flight, which originated in Bombay, was shadowed by the Canadian air force after concerns that the name of one of the plane's passengers might have appeared on a list of international terrorists.

Federal Bureau of Investigation agents met the plane in New York after a security officer at London's Heathrow airport sounded the alarm.

The F-B-I says an Air India passenger was later questioned but released after authorities were able to establish his identity.
