India's foreign minister arrives in China

India's Foreign Minister, Jaswant Singh, has arrived in China for a visit that comes amid improving relations between Asia's two most populous nations.

During his five-day visit, Mr Singh is expected to have talks with his Chinese hosts on terrorism, a dragging border dispute and a planned visit by Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, later this year.

Mr Singh will spend 10 days in East Asia on a trip that will also take him to South Korea and Burma.
