Seoul says to provide fertiliser to North Korea in April

South Korea plans to provide 200-thousand tonnes of fertiliser to North Korea this month.

South Korea's Unification Ministry says the move is a humanitarian gesture aimed at bringing North Korea back to the negotiating table.

Last week, North and South Korea agreed to resume stalled rapprochement projects, including reunions of divided families and talks on restoring railway links severed since the 1950-53 Korean War.
