Up to four US soldiers killed after rocket accident
As many as four US soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan, after a rocket detonated as they were attempting to dispose of it.
Pentagon officials say the incident occurred as an an explosives and ordnance disposal team were disposing of unexploded ordnance near Kandahar.
They say at least three have been killed, and an undetermined number of others were injured or missing. Officials said there was a later report that a fourth soldier was killed in the blast, but it had not been confirmed yet because of trouble accounting for all the soldiers on the team.
