Militant group now denies responsibility for Kashmir attack In India, the militant group which originally claimed responsibility for Monday's attack on the Kashmir parliament has now denied it was involved. That afternoon the Jaish-e-Mohammed told a local news service it was responsible and named the suicide bomber. The group now denies any involvement saying the Indian army or its agents did it to malign Kashmir's struggle for freedom. Kashmir's chief minister Farouk Abdullah broke down in tears as the Assembly reconvened. He told legislators the time has come to wage war on Pakistan and to bomb the militant training camps across the line of control. Pakistan has condemned the attack and denies sponsoring terrorism in Kashmir. 4/10/01 2:52:04 | ABC Radio Australia News
