Malaysia says bias applies in the hunt for terrorists

Malaysia's prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad says a double standard seems to apply in the hunt for terrorists.

In an interview with a Japanese magazine, Dr Mahathir says commanders in the fight against terrorism have chosen only Muslim enemies so far, raising concern among Islamic countries.

Dr Mahathir says while the world community jumped to respond to the killing of Americans in the Sept. 11 attacks, there has been no world movement or coalition to hunt Serb terrorists who killed hundreds of thousands of Bosnian Muslims.

He warns it would be difficult to sustain the support of Muslim countries in the campaign against terrorism if only Muslim terrorists are hunted down.
