Two-hundred people march through Cambodian capital
In Cambodia, about 200 people have marched through the capital Phnom Penh demanding an end to violence against women candidates ahead of landmark local elections.
The march, which involved people from from 40 aid groups, took place after two female candidates, and a female party activist were shot dead earlier this month.
At least seven candidates from opposition parties have been killed ahead of the communal election on February 3rd - the first direct local elections since the UN-aided transition to democratic rule in 1993.
However, the recent deaths of women linked to the polls was the first time females have been killed in a run-up to an election.
