US condemns attack on Church in Pakistan in which two American's died
United States officials have condemned as "senseless" the attack on a Christian church which killed five people, including the wife and daughter of an American diplomat.
US ambassador to Pakistan, Wendy Chamberlain says the attack at the Protestant International Church was a "cowardly act" which took the lives of five innocent people.
The five were killed and 46, including two Australians, were wounded when eight grenades were thrown through the church windows.
Ms Chamberlin extended her condolences to the friends and family of diplomat Milton Green's wife Barbara and daughter Kristin who died in the attack on the church in Islamabad's diplomatic enclave.
