Two pilots feared dead as Taiwan fighter jet missing

An F-5 fighter jet has gone missing in southeastern Taiwan, prompting fears two air force pilots are dead.

The two pilots were on a routine training mission when the air force lost contact with them

Air force rescue helicopters and coast guards are searching for the two pilots, but say the mission is being impaired by bad weather and rough seas.

An official investigation is now under way.
