Reports of Indian troop movements along Pakistan border
Pakistan says it's deeply concerned by reports of Indian troop movements along the two countries' border.
A statement from the foreign ministry said there were reports of 'massive' Indian troop movements in several border areas including the Line of Control that divides the disputed Himalayan state of Kashmir.
The statement said the reports, if true, would aggrevate an already tense situation in the region and Pakistan would be forced to take what it termed 'all appropriate counter-measures'.
Earlier, Islamabad expressed regret at India's decision to recall its high commissioner amid tension over last week's attack on the Indian parliament.
