ADB grant for Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam

The Asian Development Bank says it will extend a 700,000-dollar technical assistance grant to Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam and a 600,000-dollar grant to Kazakhstan.

The Bank said the first grant will go to preparing guidelines to harmonize the telecommunications policies of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam to bring them in line with international standards.

Kazakhstan will get a grant to develop pre-school education and maternal and child services for mothers and children up to seven years old, particularly in rural communities.
