Thailand seizes drug baron's assets
Thai authorities have seized property reportedly worth more than two million dollars from a Burmese drug baron.
Officials say police raided nine homes and businesses belonging to Wei Xieu-kang.
Wei is also wanted by the United States, which has put a two-million-dollar reward on his head.
He is reportedly now in Burma, after jumping bail in Thailand in 1990.
Wei is believed to be a major dealer in amphetamines sent to Western markets. A Thai court sentenced him to life jail in absentia in 1994 for helping to smuggle 600 kilograms of heroin out of Thailand.
