Chinese plane carrying 155 passengers, 11 crew crashes in South Korea
An Air China Boeing jet carrying 155 passengers and 11 crew, has crashed near the South Korean city of Pusan.
Transportation ministry officials initially reported that everyone aboard the flight from Beijing was feared dead, but they later said a dozen people may have survived the crash.
The Ministry quotes local aviation authorities as saying there might be 11 survivors from the crash.
They say the flight went down after experiencing difficulties on a first attempt to land in Pusan.
The plane crashed into a hill near an apartment complex as it prepared to land for a second time.
There are no immediate reports of casualties on the ground.
The area was shrouded in a thick mist at the time of the crash.
