Taiwanese housewife arrested for printing counterfiet banknotes
A Taiwanese housewife has been arrested for printing bogus bank notes worth almost three-million U-S dollars.
Chen Ying-tao was seized when police, acting on a tip-off, raided her home in Sanchung, a city outside Taipei.
Police says she had used a copy machine to make the fake currency.
Mrs Chen claimed that she was only doing it for fun and had no intention of actually using the counterfeit money. Police, however, suspect she is a member of a criminal gang.
