Pakistan and China continue high level talks
Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf has began the second day of talks with Chinese leaders that feature the future of war-ravaged Afghanistan.
This followed discussions late Thursday between the Pakistani president and his Chinese counterpart Jiang Zemin, who said the immediate future of Afghanistan could be filled with problems.
Analysts say that for Musharraf to seek China's counsel when his country is being courted by the West because of its influence on Afghanistan is intended to be a clear sign that ties with Beijing remain important.
