U-S and Britain promise full support for new administration

Both the United States and Britain have promised full support for the new administration.

The British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, says it's for the people of Afghanistan to decide their own future.

We will support them for the long term, but it is their country, it is their future, and our role is to help the people in Afghanistan to build a fairer and better future for the people there, that future controlled and governed by the people there.
